We went there for our anniversary. My wife had the Chicken Alla Limon and I had the Chicken Pizzaiola. All of the food was amazing but I thought the Pizzaiola was out of this world. I really loved the flavor that the sausage added to the dish. And I must say that drizzling a little of the olive oil infused with peppers that accompanied the entrees was delightful. The food and the cocktails we're top notch. I must add that I'm not a big tiramisu fan but the raspberry tiramisu was excellent! I definitely recommend this place for a special occasion.

Inside the seemingly small storefront is a sprawling labyrinth. Each room is tucked away, creating a collection of unique eating experiences. The hostess, assuming you do not employ alternative methods, will seat you where you fit in. Larger italian men should avoid wearing hats with their suit or they may find themselves seated incorrectly. We ordered the veal chop to share, and the generous, and complimentary salad and pasta course had us almost full before the veal. My future self was not complaining as it made for an excellent lunch. Every table seemed to leave with a tower of plastic wrapped styrofoam boxes. The food was excellent, with the vodka pasta a clear standout. We also enjoyed the tableside cacio e pepe, made in a cheese wheel. The service was friendly, though a bit casual. Be ready to eat.

I spent the evening at Alla Famiglia for our annual Christmas girls night and it was perfect from start to finish. Anthony (Tony) took incredible care of us from the moment we sat down until the very end of our meal. He walked us through the evening’s specials with so much detail, answered every question, and made the entire experience feel personal. We always enjoy hearing what the chef and the team have planned for the night, and this visit was no different. One thing I truly love about dining here is that the entrees come with a salad, a pasta course if you did not order a pasta entree, and then your selected meal. The casa salad is my favorite while my friend tried the wedge salad and really enjoyed it. We shared the rigatoni vodka pasta and for our entrees she ordered the chicken Parmesan (Parmigiana) while I ordered the Tagliatelle Scoglio Del Mare. Their seafood pasta is my favorite seafood dish in the city because it is perfectly seasoned, creamy in the best way, and full of fresh flavor. Anthony was a complete 10 out of 10. When we were deciding on dessert, he recommended the Biscoff cheesecake and spoke very highly of their pastry chef which was so nice to hear. From the host stand to the servers to the food runners, you can see how much effort and teamwork goes into making every part of the night run smoothly. After working in the service industry for the past 10 years, I can confidently say this restaurant deserves a full 10 out of 10. Anthony also told us to check out the cigar lounge after our meal and we loved it. Haley greeted us right away, gave us a tour, and explained how we can utilize the lounge on our next visit. Alla Famiglia is my favorite Italian spot in Pittsburgh and I highly recommend it to anyone who wants a moody, intimate, and flavorful dining experience.

We came here to celebrate a birthday, and the service was warm, welcoming, and attentive. The signature pasta stood out much more than the cheese one, in our opinion. We really enjoyed the olive oil and bread — but don’t fill up on it, because there’s plenty of great food coming! The cocktails were well done too — as someone who doesn’t drink much, I especially enjoyed the Moscow Mule. This place is also suitable for special occasions and ceremonies. I noticed they have a hall that can accommodate larger gatherings. Overall, a great spot for celebrations, good food, and drinks.

1st time here most certainly won’t be the last … amazing dining experience!!!! Atmosphere is great, cozy, calm and inviting. We didn’t know how the menu worked, everyone gets a salad, pasta then entree. It’s ALOT of food even though they will tell you it’s smaller portions. The food is wonderful! The best pasta ever in the cheese wheel!!! Scallops were out of this world and drinks were strong and delicious. Our server was Natalie who was super nice, informative and fun! We loved everything about this place. It is pricey but the quality of food, atmosphere and service is what you are paying for. 5 Stars!!!!

The area itself is not great. Make sure you use valet and be aware of your surroundings. You may get heckled by locals for “spending $100 on speghetti”. This is the only negative, but the positives surpass the negatives. You choose a pasta appetizer (parm cheese wheel pasta or vodka sauce pasta) then your meal. Very large portions. The parm cheese pasta is made in front of your table inside a cheese wheel! Desserts were Amazing! Staff was amazing! The atmosphere was beautiful, it used to be an old theater. Will definitely dine there again. Keep in mind that an appetizer, meal and dessert is about $100 a person not including alcohol or tip. Jars of sauce available for take home, believe they were $8 each.

An incredible Italian restaurant. We celebrated our wedding anniversary and couldn’t have picked a better place. Beth, our server, was so good to work with. Very attentive. The entire team was customer focused. The food is top notch. You cannot leave hungry. The food is cooked to perfection. We started with the meatball and escargot. Both were so good. Our main courses were chicken Parmesan, steak and veal chops. So good. Salad, bread and pasta accompanied the meal. Everything was perfect. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Alla Famiglia is a hidden gem in Pittsburgh, offering a top-notch Italian dining experience. Located at 804 E Warrington Ave, this restaurant is a must-visit for those seeking a classy and intimate atmosphere.

As a food reviewer, I had the pleasure of exploring Alla Famiglia's menu, which includes vegan and vegetarian options alongside their meat dishes. The Cacio E Pepe, made tableside in a Locatelli cheese wheel, is a standout dish that is truly a dream come true. Their attention to detail and care for vegetarian options, like the vegan Bolognese made with five different types of chopped mushrooms, sets them apart from other Italian restaurants.

The ambience at Alla Famiglia is warm and inviting, with attentive staff who are knowledgeable and eager to make recommendations. Their in-house sommelier can recommend the perfect wine pairing for your meal, adding to the overall dining experience.

From the Fried Provolone to the gorgonzola filet mignon and the Tagliatelle Scoglio del Mare, each dish is cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. The presentation is exceptional, and the portion sizes are generous, ensuring you'll leave satisfied.

Though prices may seem a bit high at first glance, the quality of the food and the experience justify the cost. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or simply looking for a delicious Italian meal, Alla Famiglia is the place to be. Make a reservation, come hungry, and prepare to be impressed by the culinary delights that await you.
